4–8 inches of compacted crushed stone graded to a minimum 2% slope for drainage. Spec varies with traffic load — heavier traffic gets more base. No corner-cutting on the foundation.

Traffic-rated hot-mix asphalt

2.5 to 3 inches of Texas DOT-spec Type-D hot-mix for standard lots; 4-inch sections at dumpster pads and truck routes. Rolled to compaction spec, temperature-monitored.

ADA-compliant striping & markings

Accessible spaces, van-accessible spaces, access aisles, fire lanes, directional arrows, code-compliant signage. Long-life traffic paint, fresh every line.
